We cannot truly appreciate light unless we experience darkness. As flowers have a season for bloom mankind blossoms at birth. Wilted flowers, dead bodies, opposing energies exist everywhere.
Opposition exists in waking life as in slumber. "Dreams and nightmares" inspired the search for balance in a collection with opposing elements. I visually display the idea of balance in opposition.
The collection includes five looks which evoke bizarre and magical feelings and, together, tell a story of learning to embrace duality:
2 Dream - lighter colors and fabric weights with floral accents
2 Nightmare - darker more saturated colors with heavier weights and distressed features
1 Duality - Shares elements of the two combined
